The field of cancer is a rapidly evolving field with new treatment approaches moving to clinic on a daily basis. Radiation Oncology is no different. It is extremely difficult for a practicing clinician to stay abreast of new developments in cancer care.

Recent landmark studies in melanoma, cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (cSCC), head and neck cancer (HNC) and sarcoma have established neoadjuvant immune therapy as a potential standard of care for patients with locally advanced cancers.

This presentation reviews the role of radiation therapy in the management of non-spine bone metastases, focusing on patient evaluation, treatment intent, dose selection, and integration with systemic and surgical care.

This program is designed to address the needs of a community practice physician and includes disease site reviews, interactive case-based discussions, a strategic dialogue with the ASTRO CEO and a radiation oncology practice overview.

This activity reviews the literature for key aspects of soft tissue sarcoma management in adults. The goal is to provide an evidence base to guide clinicians on practice for management of these rare tumors.

There are many ongoing advances in the context of radiation therapy delivery for patients with primary soft tissue sarcoma of the extremity/trunk with emerging practice-changing clinical research and new treatment options, some of which are not yet standard of care.

Angiosarcoma is rare, and often portends adverse outcomes. Those who receives multi-modal care generally experience the best cancer outcomes. However, guidelines to inform approach are limited. Further education is needed to advocate for high-quality care in this uncommon setting.

This presentation reviews characteristic multimodality imaging features of soft tissue sarcoma (STS), discusses MRI imaging protocols, identifies imaging features of STS that may allow for a specific diagnosis or narrow the differential diagnosis, covers potential imaging pitfalls, and discusses
