Pediatric - 2020 Refresher
This course reviews the current state of treatment paradigms for the most common pediatric solid tumors requiring radiotherapy. The pitfalls and how to avoid them during treatment planning and best practices will be discussed. The circumstances in the pediatric population that help to drive the treatment decisions such as concern for late effects and adverse effects on development will also be reviewed.

- Identify current radiation related treatment approaches to pediatric brain tumors.
- Discuss the current radiation related treatment approached to pediatric solid malignancies outside of the brain.
- Recognize, and avoid, the common pitfalls in radiotherapy and normal tissue dosimetry in the pediatric population.
