ASTRO ROCKS: Team Science

In this Team Science Research-Oriented Career Knowledge and Support (ROCKS) web session, we will hear from four academic radiation oncology researchers who have not only been successful in their individual research endeavors but also have collaborated across disciplines to establish teams to compete for and successfully obtain large federal grants. We will learn about why and how these colleagues developed a team-based science mindset. We will also explore how these colleagues built their teams with the goals of the large grant Request for Proposals (RFP) clearly in mind. What obstacles did they encounter as they went through the process of building their teams and successfully submitting their large-scale team-based grant? Keys things to focus on and what roadblocks to avoid?

This activity is available from November 7, 2024, through 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on November 6, 2027.

The content was originally presented and recorded as a live webinar on November 7, 2024.
