ASTRO ROCKS: ASTRO Supported Grants


In this Team Science Research-Oriented Career Knowledge and Support (ROCKS) activity, a diverse lineup of speakers who have successfully obtained ASTRO grants to advance their research and careers share their personal experiences, including the challenges and triumphs encountered along the way.

Topics include (but are not limited to):

  • Aligning individual research goals with ASTRO grant opportunities to maximize funding potential.
  • Building collaborative partnerships that enhance the likelihood of securing grants.
  • Strategies for seeking mentorship and networking within the ASTRO community to strengthen grants applications.
  • Navigating the administrative aspects of grant submission, including institutional support and compliance.

Target Audience
