2022 eContouring for Breast Cancer - Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and Early Stage - Library Course

In this course, learners will review 2 cases of breast cancer.  First, a case of early stage breast cancer managed with adjuvant partial breast irradiation.  Second, a case of node-positive breast cancer managed with adjuvant whole breast and regional nodal irradiation.  They will be assigned specific images from a CT simulation treatment planning scan and provide contours of select target volumes.

Target Audience

This program is designed to meet the interest of radiation oncologists and radiation oncology residents.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Delineate the appropriate target volumes for partial breast irradiation.
  2. Delineate the appropriate target volumes for regional nodal irradiation.
