2021 Refresher Course - eContouring for Breast Cancer

This exercise consists of participants reading a short clinical vignette about the two breast cases. Then they will prepare by contouring specified volumes on certain specified homework slices.

During the webinar, Dr. Atif Khan will go over the specified volumes and slices, talk about why he contoured the way he did, and then compare the faculty contours with the participants and offer suggestions.

 

Target Audience

This program is designed to meet the interest of radiation oncologists, physicists and radiation oncology residents.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Improve understanding of the importance of contouring in breast cancer, and how to contour RNI/PMRT targets accurately.
  • Modify practice to routinely contour target volumes as well as OARs such as the thyroid gland.
