Webinar 2 - Best Practices for the Continuum of Care, a Multidisciplinary Approach

This will be a panel discussion/presentation on overcoming barriers to come for lung cancer, and will include a pulmonologist, a radiation oncologist, a thoracic surgeon, and a medical oncologist. The panel will cover lung cancer screening, diagnostic workup and staging for lung cancer patients, appropriate tissue analysis including molecular workup, and treatment options. This will be followed by a discussion and open question session.

Supported by an independent medical education grant from AstraZeneca.

Target Audience

The activity is designed to meet the interests of radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, internists, family practitioners and radiation oncology residents.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, learners should be able to:

  • Discuss decision making for concurrent chemotherapy.
  • Discuss considerations for safe radiotherapy delivery.
  • Discuss identification and management of pneumonitis.
