Toxicities in Survivorship

Long-term treatment related toxicities are a growing issue in the longitudinal care of head and neck cancer patients as our treatments have improved survival. Failure to recognize these toxicities can negatively impact patients' outcomes and quality of life, and clinicians must remain educated in order to provide the best possible care.

Treating physicians must remain up to date on long term toxicities and treatment related side effects. This session provides an opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of treatment-related toxicities and offer solutions for treatment of these side effects.
