Radiotherapy in Alzheimer's Disease: A Systematic Review
This systematic review summarizes 16 human and animal studies and registered clinical trials describing the use of radiation in the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, including outcomes. The article provides an overview of those 16 studies and concludes a promising role for low-dose radiation therapy in Alzheimer’s disease and acknowledges the current limitations in the literature.
