Palliative Care-BOA2018

The care of patients with metastatic cancers is a substantial component of care in radiation oncology settings.  Palliative care in radiation oncology has often been a neglected area of clinical research. Clinical research is needed – with immediate translation into clinical practice – to improve the care of this of this diverse patient population. This session will address  recent evidence to guide and improve clinical practice in the care of patients with advanced malignancies.

Target Audience

The meeting is designed to meet the interests of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiation physicists, nurses, radiation  therapists, radiation dosimetrists, and residents.
