eContouring for Lymphomas
This activity reviews the evolution of field design in lymphoma radiation treatments, as well as offer case-based hands-on practice in contouring GTV, CTV and PTV in a variety of types of lymphomas. This activity also reviews how to optimize modern simulation and planning techniques to minimize unwanted radiation dose to organs at risk.
This activity is available from August 27, 2025, through 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on August 26, 2027.
The content was originally presented and recorded during the 2025 ASTRO Annual Refresher Course.
Target Audience
This activity is designed to meet the interests of practicing radiation oncologists, radiation oncology residents, medical and clinical physicists, radiation therapists, radiation dosimetrists, nurses and all other health professionals involved in the field of radiation oncology.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe how radiation fields for the treatment of lymphomas has evolved.
- Describe how to optimally employ different radiation treatment techniques to treat lymphomas and minimize dose to organs at risk.
- Implement contouring techniques practiced in the session in clinical practice.
