eContouring for Lymphomas

This session reviews the evolution of field design in lymphoma radiation treatments, as well as offer case-based hands-on practice in contouring GTV, CTV and PTV in a variety of types of lymphomas. This session also reviews how to optimize modern simulation and planning techniques to minimize unwanted radiation dose to organs at risk.

Target Audience

The meeting is designed to meet the interests of practicing radiation oncologists, radiation oncology residents, medical and clinical physicists, radiation therapists, radiation dosimetrists, nurses and all other health professionals involved in the field of radiation oncology.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to do the following:

  • Describe how radiation fields for the treatment of lymphomas has evolved.
  • Describe how to optimally employ different radiation treatment techniques to treat lymphomas and minimize dose to organs at risk.
  • Implement contouring techniques practiced in the session in clinical practice.
