eContouring for Head and Neck Cancer - Tongue - Case Library
This activity will include an introduction covering common head and neck cancer subtypes. Basics of head and neck anatomy will be reviewed. Subsequently, we will transition to a case-based approach that will demonstrate target volume design for common head and neck tumor types.
This course includes two practice contouring cases
Cases Covered:
Case 1: Definitive Radiotherapy for Oropharyngeal Cancer
60 yo male (ECOG 0) who presents with a history of right sided otalgia and odonophagia, found to have a base of tongue mass.
Case 2: Adjuvant Radiotherapy for Locally Advanced Oral Tongue Cancer
23 yo female (ECOG 0) who presents with stage IVA (pT3N2b) SCC of the left oral tongue status post resection and left neck dissection.
