eContouring for Celiac Plexus Radiosurgery
This contouring activity features celiac plexus radiosurgery, a new technique for pain control in pancreatic cancer. The results of an international phase II study were positive (presented at the 2022 ASTRO Annual Meeting as a late-breaking oral abstract). The technique has now been included in the 2024 National Comprehensive Cancer Network Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma Guideline for pain. Likewise, the study was accepted for publication in The Lancet Oncology.
This activity includes a recorded didactic background lecture and case/contour review. Participants also have access to the online contouring platform to contour practice cases prepared by the faculty and receive a metric score based on the accuracy of their contour(s) compared to the faculty.
This activity is available from January 22, 2025, through 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on January 21, 2027.
The content was originally presented and recorded as a live webinar on December 4, 2024.
