This session provides clinicians in practice and trainees with a comprehensive review and update of the clinical practice parameters in the multidisciplinary management of patients with lung cancer. We discuss the management of nonsmall cell lung cancer and small cell lung cancer, focusing on the role of radiotherapy in early-stage, locally advanced and metastatic disease. We review key evidence that forms the basis for current clinical practice guidelines and emerging trends in practice patterns.
