Keynote I: Accelerating Innovation & Reimagining Health

This keynote examined how leadership, culture, and aligned incentives can accelerate medical innovation, drawing lessons from the rapid development of COVID 19 vaccines and their application to radiopharmaceutical therapies (RPTs). Participants explore current barriers to RPT adoption and emerging opportunities to expand access through regulatory flexibility, collaboration, and data driven care. The session concluded with a call to rebuild trust, reduce disparities, and enable faster, more equitable access to lifesaving therapies.

Target Audience

This meeting was designed to meet the interests of medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, physicists, nurses, diagnostic radiologists,  radiation therapists, radiation dosimetrists, specialists, nuclear physicians and practice administrators. 

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to do the following:

  • Describe how leadership, organizational culture, and regulatory flexibility can accelerate medical innovation, using lessons from rapid COVID 19 vaccine development and their application to radiopharmaceutical therapies.
