ASTRO's Authorized User Training Center Program for Radiopharmaceutical Therapy Application
ASTRO’s AU Training Center Program provides radiation oncologists with a comprehensive, hands-on experience to meet Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and Agreement State requirements for Authorized User (AU) status in radiopharmaceutical therapy (RPT). This program combines access to ASTRO's Beyond the Beam course with supervised clinical observation to help participants gain the knowledge and practical skills needed for safe and effective RPT delivery.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
- Complete NRC and Agreement State work experience requirements for AU designation.
- Demonstrate competency in therapy-specific management for RPTs.
- Implement best practices for safety, quality, and compliance in clinical settings.

This application course consists of an application form for eligibility and program requirements.
Eligibility:
- ASTRO's AU Training Center Program is limited to radiation oncologists who are (1) residing and practicing in the United States and (2) ASTRO members in good standing.
- Applicants must currently have or be pursuing AU status for the parenteral administration of a radioactive drug.
- Applicants must have completed all required training hours, based on NRC or Agreement State requirements for AU Status for parenteral administration of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Applicants must meet and agree to all program requirements detailed in the application form.
